Location. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz conceived of the Indian Wells Resort Hotel in Indian Wells, Calif., as an exclusive desert escape. Indian Wells Country Club and the Golf Resort at Indian Wells is adjacent to this resort that is dramatically framed by the Santa Rosa Mountains. Hotel Features. Drenched in natural light, the resort's inviting lobby is furnished with overstuffed wicker chairs and a collection of horse statues in tribute to two nearby polo fields.
